Okay now heres a
new way of borderizing your fonts, its styling, it also works for pixel fonts :)
okay now make sure its floating... and you've done the step.. feel proud
after go to
selections(floating) as in the image below.
now i missed a step here but here,
goto expand, expand it by 2 pixels, 1 pixel for pixel fonts 
and voila you got something like
this!
